People & Culture in technical environments

I work where people and business meet: recruiting for technical roles, building onboarding and competence development that actually gets used, and giving managers a structure they can lean on. I have spent most of my career inside tech and IT companies.

About

I work where people and business meet

Experienced in working broadly within recruitment, HR, Learning & Development and organisational development, primarily in technical environments.

What drives me is the opportunity to work closely with people and business, and to create conditions for both individuals and organisations to grow. Through my roles I have had the chance to build and improve processes within recruitment, onboarding and competence development, always with a focus on creating a great and engaging employee experience.

I thrive in collaboration with managers and teams, contributing with structure, perspective and support in how we can work smarter and more sustainably over time.

The majority of my career has been spent in IT and tech companies, which means I understand the language, needs and challenges of the business. This creates better recruitment processes, more accurate competence profiles and stronger trust from both candidates and hiring managers.

What I'm passionate about

  • Matching the right person with the right role, and creating conditions for them to succeed
  • Building structures and processes that create long-term sustainability
  • Working closely with the business to understand its needs
  • Creating engaging employee experiences from day one
  • Combining data-driven thinking with a genuine focus on people

What I do

Six areas, point by point

This is the work I actually do. Under each point sits what I have genuinely done, nothing inflated.

01

Talent Acquisition

Own the full recruitment process, from needs analysis and sourcing to offer and onboarding.

This has been the core of my work for over seven years. At Mpya Sci & Tech I drove full recruitment processes within technical roles and advised hiring managers on competence profiles, selection and candidate evaluation. At ZoCom I led the entire talent acquisition function as part of the management team, and at A Society I was responsible for recruiting and matching IT consultants.

02

People & Culture

Be the person managers and employees turn to on HR processes, onboarding and the employee experience.

At ZoCom I held HR support and development responsibility for a consultant group of 15+ people, and at A Society I worked with onboarding and ongoing HR support for consultants. I have built onboarding structures from scratch in two companies, both times to increase engagement and retention.

03

Learning & Development

Build competence development that actually gets used, not training that ends up in a drawer.

At Simployer I developed training content within HR, payroll, tax and VAT for a leading HR system, together with subject matter experts, and planned and ran conferences and training sessions. At IT-Högskolan I led education programmes in close collaboration with the labour market, and at ZoCom I was in from the start and helped shape an internal LMS that was later sold B2B. I am also a certified education manager.

04

Employer branding

Make the company visible and attractive to the right people in a tight talent market.

At ZoCom I worked with employer branding alongside recruitment: being clear about who we were, why people should stay and how we showed up externally. I have also run internal workshops and training initiatives, and helped build a career programme for junior talent, which in itself became one of the strongest reasons to join the company.

05

Organisational development

Build structures and processes that hold as the company grows.

I would rather build something that holds than something that looks good on a slide. Concretely: onboarding structures, ATS workflows, a career programme for junior talent, an internal LMS and improved internal communication flows. Always close to the business, always with the managers and employees who have to live with the result.

06

AI and digitalising HR work

Take the manual work out of HR with the tools that actually exist today.

I use AI daily in my work, mainly ChatGPT and Claude, to structure competence profiles, quality-check job ads, prepare interviews and streamline repetitive work. I also build my own tools when I run into a problem that ought to be solved already: Recruitment OS, which turns a requirements profile into a complete interview package, a project tool with gamification, a finance tool and this site with its AI assistant. All without a coding background.

What I've built

I'd rather build the thing than talk about it

Some of this I built together with others inside the companies I've worked at. Some I built myself, with AI, to solve problems I ran into at work.

Inside the companies I've worked at

A career programme for junior talent

I was part of building a career programme for junior developers: a clear way in, with structure for what they would learn, who supported them and how they grew on from there.

An internal LMS, shaped from the start

I was in from the beginning and helped shape an internal learning system: what it should solve, how it would be used and how the content should be structured. It became good enough that it was later sold on as a product.

Onboarding built from scratch

I have built onboarding structures that did not exist before, twice over, with an explicit purpose: to increase engagement and retention, not to tick a checklist.

ATS workflows that hold up

I implemented and developed the ATS workflows: how a role was opened, how candidates moved through the process and who did what when. Good workflows are the difference between a process and a messy spreadsheet.

Course content within HR and payroll

I worked on and developed course content within HR, payroll, tax and VAT together with HR experts. I kept the material current against HR trends and improved the pedagogical structures so the content actually landed with participants.

Built myself, with AI

Recruitment OS

An AI tool that turns a requirements profile into a complete interview package: competency analysis, 15–20 structured questions with follow-ups, scorecards and bias-reduction guidance. It also holds a competency library with level indicators and Big Five personality competencies, so two managers hiring for the same role actually look for the same things.

Open Recruitment OS

QuestLog — a project tool with gamification

A scrum and kanban board where the work is rewarded like a game, with levels and progression, to keep motivation up over time. It runs as a desktop app and a web version, with login and sync across devices. 50+ releases so far.

A finance tool

A tool I built to keep the finances in order: gather the numbers in one place, see how they develop over time and make decisions on something other than a gut feeling.

This site, with an AI that answers for me

The AI assistant at the top knows my full CV and answers questions directly, so whoever is reading does not have to go hunting. A small example of how I work: find the manual part, remove it.

Experience

Seven years close to both the people and the business

Every role has come down to the same thing: understand the business quickly, then build the people structure it does not have yet.

Beyond work

The person behind the CV

There's more to life than work. Here's a glimpse of who I am outside the office: the things that keep me curious, grounded and energised.

🎲

Hobbies

I'm a creative person at heart. I read a lot of fantasy and channel that into writing D&D adventures as a Game Master. I have a huge passion for food and cooking, and love all food, from street food joints to Michelin restaurants. I also really enjoy getting together over board games, and love watching Critical Role, a live-action D&D series that fuels my creativity as a Game Master.

✈️

Travel

I love to travel, especially to Spain and Costa del Sol. I also grew up half and half in Thailand, and I've even been stuck on the African savannah. Ask me about it!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Friends & family

I live in Gothenburg with my fiancée and our 2.5-year-old son. Time with the people I care about is what matters most: good conversations, dinners and shared experiences.

🎧

Music & podcasts

I'm a music omnivore, always listening to something. Right now I'm stuck on funk soul. I definitely prefer music over podcasts.

📖

Curiosity & learning

I love reading and watching videos to learn new things, especially about AI and how to streamline and optimise the way we work. Being creative in my work is something that genuinely makes me feel good.

🧭

What drives me

At the core, I'm someone who genuinely cares about people. Whether it's at work or in my personal life, I believe in building real connections, staying curious and always trying to grow. The best version of me shows up when I balance meaningful work with the things and people that inspire me outside of it.
